use this carafe for sake or shaoxing rice wine, whether warmed or chilled. the thick wooden wall keeps your beverage at the right temperature. with the lid closed, you can pour out liquid from one of the carved corner. made with nootka cypress wood sourced from british Columbia, its interior is coated with layers of hand-brushed lacquer, derived from the sap of the lacquer tree, providing water resistance and enhanced durability.
