maple cutting board
Made from a single slab of maple wood—no glue and no finishing oil. It doesn’t need any. Wood cutting boards are naturally antibacterial, and any finish on the surface can reduce their ability to eliminate bacteria. As a light-colored wood, maple is a safe and reliable choice for direct food contact.
The board features a hand-planed finish. Two strips of wood, attached to the bottom with sliding dovetail joints secured by friction, elevate the board for better air circulation during drying. This design prevents water from becoming trapped underneath and eliminates the need to hang the board after each use—simply leave it on the countertop. The added structure also helps maintain the board’s flatness and prevents cracking over time.

do not put in dishwasher. clean with warm water, wipe dry with soft cloth. refresh occasionally with a mixture of lemon juice and salt. use soap when necessary. store in a well-ventilated area, away from direct sunlight.
