kwzt studio is a furniture and tableware design studio nestled in hudson valley, new york. influenced by a fusion of contemporary furniture design and traditional east asian craftsmanship, each piece at kwzt is designed and handcrafted by weizitong kong.

born and raised in eastern china, weizitong showed a natural talent for art and craft from a young age. he moved to new york city in 2014 to pursue fine arts, then pivoted to handcraft, and now works from a studio in the hudson valley.

kwzt’s pieces are on display at studio tashtego (158 main st, cold spring ny) and verse work/shop (35 w market st, red hook ny).
